Wow good content, I was there last April with family buying food stuff and funny I didn’t shop for anime souvenirs. I just bought a Panasonic headphone and a belt for my own joy. I saved my money to buy a preowned PS Vita which I enjoyed so much.

These are all great ideas - thank you! The only thing that makes me wonder about the packaged supermarket goods is whether they have harmful ingredients like palm oil in them. Are such ingredients commonly found in edibles available in Japanese stores? I always try to avoid them in my home country, but since I do not know any Japanese, I'm a bit worried that I might pick up something that is heavily processed without knowing😥

For me Tokyo is still the best city in the world to enjoy food and drink. The reason is cultural. Japanese culture likes to perfect crafts and service, and the people are highly respectful. Excellent combination!

My recent visit to Donquiote was very disappointing! Their prices are higher than other retail shops. We went there last during our visit thinking they still had the best selection and prices. What they do is anticipate tourists will be fooled by the tax free refund! Don’t be fooled, go get things at OK markets instead, they have prices and selections that will keep your wallet less impacted!
